EUROPEAN FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY OF DIABETES (EFSD)
EFSD has established this independent research programme called the EFSD/Boehringer Ingelheim European Research Programme in Microvascular Complications of Diabetes to encourage new products aimed at advancing current knowledge in this domain through innovative basic or clinical research.
This EFSD/Boehringer Ingelheim European Diabetes Research Programme is intended to stimulate and accelerate European basic and clinical research in the specific area of microvascular complications (retinopathy, nephropathy and neuropathy) of diabetes. Proposals dealing with the following are especially but not exclusively welcome: investigations of various cell types in the eye and kidney and their role and interaction during the course of development of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy.

AECC - ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA CONTRA EL CANCER
La Fundació AECC convoca ajuts per a projectes de recerca sobre càncer infantil, que es desenvolupin sota la supervisió d’un investigador principal i que es realitzin en la seva totalitat a Espanya.

AECC - ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA CONTRA EL CANCER
La finalitat de la convocatòria és la concessió d'ajudes financeres a línies d'investigació desenvolupades per grups estables i competitius que promoguin una investigació oncològica translacional amb un component bàsic-clínic.
Amb aquesta iniciativa, es pretén fomentar la continuïtat de les investigacions finançades, aportant major flexibilitat i estabilitat als grups investigadors, amb el doble objectiu d'accelerar la transferència dels resultats a la pràctica clínica en benefici dels pacients i els seus familiars i d'augmentar la massa crítica investigadora en oncologia a Espanya.

INNOVATIVE MEDICINES INITIATIVE
IMI is a partnership between the European Union and the European pharmaceutical industry, represented by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
The goal of the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 (IMI 2) is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.

    Té com a finalitat la concessió d’ajuts a investigadors pel desenvolupament d’un projecte de recerca d´acord a les dues modalitats de programes.
    Postdoctoral: Ajuts destinats a doctors o post residents per a la realització d’un projecte de recerca en un centre espanyol.
    Postdoctoral Clinica: Ajudes destinades a doctors o post residents per al desenvolupament d'un projecte de recerca clínica sense vinculació amb interessos comercials directes. L'objecte de la proposta ha de respondre a una incertesa epidemiològica, un problema diagnòstic o terapèutic, una nova estratègia de prevenció o similar. En aquesta modalitat el candidat s'integrarà en un grup receptor, sota la supervisió d'un investigador principal sènior i podrà abastar diverses institucions (multicèntric).
