REAL FUNDACIÓN VICTORIA EUGENIA
Fomentar l'interès investigador al col·lectiu mèdic i multidisciplinar, i estimular el desenvolupament de treballs en l'àmbit de l'hematologia.
Objectius:
  • Promoure la investigació sobre les conseqüències que l'ús clínic dels concentrats de factors de coagulació provoca en els afectats per l'hemofília i altres trastorns de la coagulació.
  • Dotar de beques de recerca per aconseguir la màxima especialització en els temes relacionats amb l'hemofília o d'altres problemes relacionats amb les coagulopaties congènites.
  • Promocionar cursos, congressos, seminaris, taules rodones i conferències relacionades amb les coagulopaties congènites.
  • Editar publicacions i crear fons documentals.
  • Preparar campanyes de sensibilització, desenvolupar iniciatives i projectes de prevenció, així com organitzar serveis d'orientació i consulta.
  • Instrumentalitzar accions que afavoreixin la reinserció social i la rehabilitació psíquica dels afectats per coagulopaties congènites i / o malalties associades.

    FUNDACIÓN ALIMERKA
    Els Premis Luis Noé Femández tenen com a objecte reconèixer expe­riències rellevants tant en matèria de nutrició com de lluita contra la gana. Per això podran presentar les seves candidatures aquelles entitats que hagin aconseguit resultats positius en algun d'aquests dos àmbits, i les experiències dels quals puguin generalitzar-se o ser referent per a altres entitats.

    Es tracta de dos premis diferents per subratllar la paradoxa de l'alimentació en la societat contemporània: d'un costat es reconeixen iniciatives exemplars en el camp de la Nutrició o la Ciència i Tecnologia dels Aliments i, per altra banda, es premien experiències innovadores a l'àmbit de la lluita contra la fam i la malnutrició.
    Nutrició: reconeixement a l'entitat o grup d'entitats que desenvolupin programes de recerca científica, d'intervenció o d'educació en l'àmbit de la nutrició i la salut.
    Lluita contra la gana: reconeixement a l'entitat o grup d'entitats que desenvolupin programes d'intervenció directa en materia de lluita contra la gana o la malnutrició, tant en països en desenvolupament com amb col·lectius vulnerables del nostre entorn.

    La missió de l'Institut Weizmann de Ciències (Rehovot, Israel), per fomentar el descobriment i la innovació es basa en l'imperatiu d'educar i preparar la propera generació de joves científics per introduir noves idees en el món de la ciència. La major part del treball d'investigació pràctica a l'Institut és realitzada per estudiants graduats i investigadors postdoctorals.
    En línia amb aquesta filosofia, la Fundació "la Caixa" ofereix tres beques postdoctorals per als doctors més talentosos d'Espanya per realitzar la seva investigació a l'Institut Weizmann de Ciències. Aquests becaris postdoctorals es beneficiaran de l'excel·lent programa de mentors i de l'atmosfera multidisciplinària de l'Institut.

    FUNDACIÓN DE INVESTIGACIÓN ONCOLÓGICA (FERO)
    La finalitat de la beca és completar la formació de joves investigadors en el camp de l'Oncologia i promoure la ràpida transmissió dels avenços científics en aquest camp als pacients. Per això, es reconeix un projecte científic presentat per professionals novells que treballin en institucions espanyoles involucrades en aquest tipus d'investigació. En aquesta convocatòria i de manera excepcional, tenim a més un Beca extraordinària en càncer de mama, per promoure a joves investigadors a treballar en el camp del càncer de mama.
    L'acte de lliurament de la 15a edició de la Beca FERO tindrà lloc el 3 de desembre de 2018 a Madrid.
    El premiat haurà d'estar present en la cerimònia de lliurament de la beca.

    The mission of the FY18 PCRP is to fund research that will lead to the elimination of death from prostate cancer and enhance the well-being of Service members, Veterans, and all men experiencing the impact of the disease. Within this context, the PCRP is interested in supporting research that addresses specific gaps in prostate cancer research and clinical care. Therefore, applications are required to address one or more of the following FY18 PCRP Overarching Challenges:
  • Develop treatments that improve outcomes for men with lethal prostate cancer
  • Reduce lethal prostate cancer in African Americans, Veterans, and other high-risk populations
  • Define the biology of lethal prostate cancer to reduce death
  • Improve the quality of life for survivors of prostate cancer

    The PRCRP was initiated in 2009 to provide support for cancer research of exceptional scientific merit not addressed by the breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and ovarian cancer research programs executed and managed by the Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
    The goal of the PRCRP is to improve quality of life by decreasing the impact of cancer on active duty service members, their families, and the American public. As such, the PRCRP will foster the next generation of cancer research by providing new opportunities to successfully pursue high-impact research for the prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer.

    EFIS and the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) are proud to offer financial support for immunology-themed meetings, workshops and schools that are organized in Europe and are international in nature.

    Specifically, through its support, EFIS aims to enhance interaction between young scientists and established immunologists, providing funding to be used as travel bursaries to award to eligible and deserving junior researchers who, in many cases, would be unable to attend quality immunology-themed events without such support.

    L'objecte del guardó és donar suport a projectes innovadors impulsats per universitats, instituts de recerca, spin offs, start-up 's ..., dirigits a millorar la qualitat de vida i l'atenció a persones en situació de cronicitat, dependència o amb discapacitat. S'acceptaran dos tipus de treballs:
    1. Projectes de recerca bàsica o clínica dirigits a produir nou coneixement en l'àmbit de l'atenció sociosanitària; 2. Projectes tècnics i tecnològics que aportin solucions innovadores a nivell social, assistencial, terapèutic o rehabilitador i que hagin demostrat la seva viabilitat i utilitat.

    Es valorarà la qualitat científica i tècnica del projecte presentat, la innovació que introdueix, el seu impacte social i els resultats obtinguts o que s'espera obtenir per millorar la qualitat de vida dels destinataris del projecte.

The Harrington Project is fueled by $250 million in donations and other funding, including $50 million from the Harrington Family.

    The Brain Prize has been established by a private Danish foundation, the Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Foundation.     HUMAN FRONTIER SCIENCE PROGRAMME
    HFSP postdoctoral fellowships encourage early career scientists to broaden their research skills by moving into new areas of study while working in a new country. The HFSP fellowship program strongly supports frontier, potentially transformative (‘out-of-the-box’) proposals and encourages applications for high-risk projects

    HFSP fellowships are for three years. Fellows may choose to stay for up to three years in the host country or use the last year of their fellowship to return to their home country or to move to another HFSPO member country.

    Long-Term Fellowships (LTF) are for applicants with a Ph.D. in a biological discipline, who will broaden their expertise by proposing a project in the life sciences which is significantly different from their previous Ph.D. or postdoctoral work.

    Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships (CDF) are for applicants with a Ph.D. from outside the life sciences (e.g. in physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or computer sciences), who have not worked in biological fields before.
