The Joint Programming Initiative "A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life" (JPI HDHL) has been established to coordinate research in the areas of food, diet, physical activity and health in order to achieve tangible societal and health impact and to strengthen European leadership and competitiveness in this field.

With this new call, JPI HDHL aims to establish a Knowledge Platform on Food, Diet, Intestinal Microbiomics and Human Health. The Knowledge Platform provides the unique possibility to connect all funded JPI HDHL researchers with other existing initiatives and relevant stakeholders in the human microbiome and health research area.

COMISSIÓ EUROPEA
ERA-NETs are projects funded by the European Commission in various research fields. Their goal is to create a European Research Area in which research is conducted and funded across countries, allowing research groups to jointly work on specific problems, exchange ideas, and benefit from cross border expertise.
The current project NEURON II co-ordinates national and regional programmes for disease-related neuroscience research in 24 participant funding organisations across 18 European Member States, Israel as an Associated Country, and Canada.

Mitjançant aquesta convocatòria es concedeixen ajudes per a la realització de projectes d'investigació que inclouen la investigació orientada així com les seves aplicacions en posteriors fases de desenvolupament tecnològic i experimentació, dirigits a la resolució de problemes vinculats als grans vuit grans reptes de la societat inclosos en el Pla Estatal d'investigació Científica i Tècnica i de Innovació 2017-2020.
Es distingeixen dos tipus de projectes:
a) Projectes R + D + I tipus A, dirigits per joves investigadors, però amb contribucions científico-tècniques rellevants i innovadores, que no hagin dirigit anteriorment projectes d'investigació de convocatòries nacionals. Dins d'aquest tipus de projectes, s'inclouen els projectes d'R + D + I tipus JIN, per a joves investigadors sense vinculació o amb vinculació temporal.
b) Projectes R + D + I tipus B, dirigits per investigadors amb una trajectòria investigadora consolidada.

ALZHEIMER'S DRUG DISCOVERY FOUNDATION
The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation supports promising, diverse international research projects to develop new drugs for Alzheimer's and related dementias, including vascular, Lewy body, and frontotemporal dementias.
ADDF's goal is to fill the critical translational funding gap that exists between basic research and later-stage drug development. ADDF funds three categories of research:
  • Drug discovery and preclinical development, including high throughput screening, medicinal chemistry, lead optimization, in vivo efficacy, safety and toxicology, formulation of the drug, and scale-up

    La Societat Espanyola de Cardiologia (SEC) i el Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carles III (CNIC) ofereixen a professionals mèdics durant les seves primeres etapes de residència al programa MIR de Cardiologia, l'oportunitat d'entrar en contacte amb la investigació cardiovascular en els laboratoris del CNIC a través del Programa RES @ CNIC.
    El propòsit d'aquest Programa és oferir als residents en Cardiologia, l'oportunitat d'entrar en contacte amb la investigació cardiovascular, coneixent i aprenent les últimes tècniques d'investigació biomèdica que es desenvolupen en els laboratoris del CNIC, sota la supervisió d'un científic del centre .
