NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION
Through the CRCNS program, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF), the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche, ANR), the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF), Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), and the State Research Agency (Agencia Estatal de Investigación, AEI) and National Institute of Health Carlos III (Instituto de Salud Carlos III, ISCIII), both of Spain, support collaborative activities that will advance the understanding of nervous system structure and function, mechanisms underlying nervous system disorders, and computational strategies used by the nervous system.
Two types of proposals will be considered in response to this call:
  • Research Proposals describing collaborative research projects, and
  • Data Sharing Proposals to enable sharing of data and other resources.

    SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE ENFERMEDADES INFECCIOSAS Y MICROBIOLOGÍA CLÍNICA
    Amb aquesta convocatòria la SEIMC vol facilitar la investigació traslacional de qualitat en Malalties Infeccioses i Microbiologia Clínica, proporcionant als socis el finançament necessari per a això. La convocatòria té com a objectius principals:
    - Seleccionar projectes que suposin un impacte elevat en la millora de la salut i que tinguin capacitat per modificar la pràctica estàndard.
    - Donar suport l'accés dels nostres socis joves a la categoria d'Investigador Principal, facilitant-los la consecució posterior d'altres fonts de finançament competitiu. Amb aquest objectiu es pretén específicament augmentar el potencial investigador de la Societat.
    - Contribuir a la visibilitat de les activitats relacionades amb la Microbiologia Clínica i les Malalties Infeccioses en la comunitat científica i en la societat en general.
    Per a aquesta convocatòria 2020 els temes seleccionats són els següents:
  • Infeccions per micobacteris, fongs o infeccions en el pacient inmunocompromès (qualsevol de les tres temàtiques)
  • Implementació d'un nou procés diagnòstic amb alt impacte clínic o de cost / efectivitat Els projectes hauran de versar obligatòriament sobre un dels dos temes seleccionats per a aquesta convocatòria.

    The ‘CONCERT-European Joint Programme for the Integration of Radiation Protection Research’ under Horizon 2020 is operating as an umbrella structure for the research initiatives jointly launched by the radiation protection research platforms MELODI, ALLIANCE, NERIS and EURADOS. Based on the platform SRAs and joint programming, CONCERT will develop research priorities, align them with priorities from participating Member States and will seek further input from society and stakeholders.

    COMISSIÓ EUROPEA
    ERC Synergy Grants are intended to enable minimum two to maximum four Principal Investigators and their teams to bring together complementary skills, knowledge, and resources in new ways, in order to jointly address ambitious research problems.
    The aim is to promote substantial advances at the frontiers of knowledge, to cross-fertilize scientific fields, and to encourage new productive lines of enquiry and new methods and techniques, including unconventional approaches and investigations at the interface between established disciplines. This should enable transformative research not only at the forefront of European science but also to become a benchmark on a global scale.
    Applicants Principal Investigators must demonstrate the synergies, complementarities and added value that could lead to breakthroughs that would not be possible by the individual Principal Investigators working alone.

    Concessió de 850 ajuts per finançar contractes predoctorals.
